I was adopted in Chickasha, grady county, Oklahoma when I was two weeks old. Per adoption paper my mother-Willie Rozella Carpenter was a 17 year old unmarried from Lefors, gray county, Texas. My father was about 25 years of age (1934) name was Buddie Bowens a married man working in the oil feild pipe line in Lefors, gray county, Texas.
